Sheena relocated from Florida and joined GPW in 2014. She has significant experience in tax planning and compliance services to closely-held and family operated businesses in a variety of industries including entertainment, food & hospitality, manufacturing, professional services, retail, technology, healthcare, interior design, investment, real estate, and software. In addition, Sheena leads the firm’s niche tax advisory and compliance practice for professional athletes and entertainers. As a multi-state tax specialist, Sheena assists clients with determining state individual and corporate income tax exposure and provides strategies to minimize compliance risk and its state tax burdens. She also provides international tax planning and compliance, offering foreign tax credit planning, tax-efficient structuring, treaty analysis, and other strategies to minimize clients’ overall global effective tax rate.
Sheena has Bachelor of Science degrees in both Accounting and Finance from Florida State University, as well as a Master of Science in Accounting from Liberty University. Sheena is a Certified Public Accountant with the State of Florida and State of California.
Sheena is currently affiliated with the FICPA, CalCPA, AICPA, and the American Businesswomen’s Association. In her free time, Sheena enjoys working out, hiking, traveling, reading, and spending time outdoors with her Labrador, Callie Rae.
