Positions Available
Tax Manager
Position Details and Desired Skills and Experience:
- Full-time
- Open to remote worker
- Licensed CPA
- Minimum 7 years of experience with a CPA firm
- Salary range $128,000 – $181,000
Responsibilities and Key Success Factors:
- Perform technical review of all tax returns
- Assume full responsibility of tax accounts assigned; this includes being responsible for personnel scheduling, compliance with due dates and monitoring time budgets
- Begin and complete tax research projects, including the ability to present findings in a clear, concise, understandable written form
- Act as a resource for tax preparers/specialists and audit staff on specific tax issues and questions
- Assume tax preparation responsibility for more complex returns
- Manage time effectively; includes the ability to handle multiple engagements at one time and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate strong communication skills
- Have excellent organization and time management skills
- Working knowledge of CCH Axcess or ProSystem fx is a plus

Tax Associates and Tax Senior
Position Details and Desired Skills and Experience:
- Full-time
- Open to remote worker
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting
- Licensed CPA or in process
- 2-4 Years of experience with a CPA firm
- Tax Associate Salary Range: $70,000 – $103,000
- Tax Senior Salary Range: $92,000 – $127,000
Responsibilities and Key Success Factors:
- Prepare Individual, Partnership, Corporate and Trust tax returns
- Prepare federal and state quarterly estimated tax payments
- Assist with tax audits and tax research projects
- Take ownership of tasks and be able to work with others to prioritize work assignments
- Handle multiple engagements at one time and meet deadlines
- Ask appropriate questions when faced with difficulties
- Produce deliverables that are clear, concise, thorough and of professional quality
- Dedicated to meeting and exceeding the expectations and requirements of internal and external clients
- Demonstrate strong communication skills
- Have excellent organization and time management skills
- Must be comfortable reporting to multiple people
- Working knowledge of CCH Axcess or ProSystems fx is a plus

Tax Internship
Gatto, Pope & Walwick, LLP is seeking sophomores, juniors and seniors for tax internship positions. Recent graduates may also apply. There are two internship periods: January to April and June to October with the potential for continued employment.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- General tax file organization
- Basic tax return preparation (utilizing ProSystems fx Tax software)
- Projects utilizing Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and QuickBooks
- General administrative duties
- Hourly Rate $28 – $30
Our ideal candidate is an accounting major that is a self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills. Must be able to work independently and effectively multi-task.

- Prepare well organized working papers consistent with firm policies and procedures that are clear, concise, thorough and of professional quality

- Ask appropriate questions when faced with difficulties

Audit Internship

- Projects utilizing Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and QuickBooks
- General administrative duties
- Hourly Rate $28 – $30

Family Office Services Senior
Family Office Services Senior candidates must have at least 4 years of bookkeeping and client service experience.
FOS Seniors are expected to perform any or all the following functions:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Work in a dynamic environment with high-net-worth individuals.
- Track and maintain a schedule of recurring deadlines for client affairs.
- Keep client and team members informed of future cash flow events
- Develop efficiencies on client projects
- Implement ways to improve client satisfaction
- Seize the opportunity to expand the FOS department
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 4 years of bookkeeping and client service experience
- Strong client interaction skills
- Must take 100% ownership of all projects
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks

Family Office Services Associate
Family Office Services Associate candidates should understand accounting basics such as assets, liabilities, capital/equity, income, and expenses.
FOS Associates are expected to perform any or all the following functions:
- Respond to clients with an expectation of within the hour
- Perform monthly reconciliations of bank, investment, and credit card accounts.
- Process bill payments
- Research whatever is needed to serve the client
- Organize and maintain the client’s supporting documentation.
- Handle multiple engagements at one time and meet deadlines
- Ask appropriate questions when faced with difficulties
- Communicate professionally both internally and externally.
- Family Office Services Associate Salary Range: $70,000 – $110,000
Qualifications:
- Must take 100% ownership of all projects.
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks a plus
