Megan Chatman joined GPW in 2019 after 14 years working in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
She is a California Certified Public Accountant who has a broad background of experience working with a range of clients from start-ups to multinationals in a variety of industries including technology, pharmaceutical and life sciences, communications, retail and consumer, and utilities. Megan is also the leader at GPW in the field of C-Corporation tax matters and has an extensive background with federal and state tax compliance, tax planning and consulting, and tax accounting (ASC 740). In addition to her expertise, Megan is known for proactive communication with clients and her thoughtfulness with identifying and implementing solutions to complex issues. She enjoys building relationships with her clients and creating a team environment.
Megan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting with Honors and a Master of Professional Accountancy, Taxation from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in California and Washington.
Megan is affiliated with CalCPA and AICPA. She is also the treasurer for the Highland Ranch Educational Foundation. Megan is passionate about financial literacy and has taught financial literacy courses to children and young adults in local schools and at her church.
