Matt first joined GPW as an intern during the 2024 Tax Season after connecting with firm representatives at USD’s Meet the Firms event. He now works as a Tax Associate.
He graduated in Spring 2025 from the University of San Diego with a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and minors in Mathematics and Music. During his time at USD, Matt was involved in the Wind Ensemble, Concert Choir, Gospel Choir, and the Accounting Society. He also served as a paid Choral Scholar at a local church and is currently preparing for the CPA exams.
Matt is a member of both CalCPA and AICPA. He stays active in San Diego’s music community by singing with a local choir. A lifelong Padres fan, Matt has a deep love for baseball and enjoys exploring baseball analytics in his free time.
