Greg joined GPW in 1997 and is a San Diego Native. Greg leads the Audit Department and is proficient in U.S. GAAP as well as professional standards as it applies to small to mid-sized non-public companies. He is active in the San Diego business community and leverages those relationships to help firm clients find solutions to their challenges. He works with clients in various industries but specializes in construction contractors. He also oversees the firm’s ERISA pension plan audit practice and performs peer reviews for other CPA firms.
Greg graduated with honors from University of California Santa Barbra earning a bachelor’s degree in business economics with an emphasis in accounting. He has his Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (“CCIFP”) designation and is an active participant in the Construction Financial Management Association (“CFMA”) with whom he was a former board member for eight plus years.
Greg is affiliated with CalCPA, AICPA, American Subcontractor Association, CFMA, and is currently part of the Masterminds business group. He is also a board member at his church, Bonita Valley Community Church. In his free time, he loves the great outdoors including hiking, biking, paddleboarding, pickleball, and traveling. He also enjoys spending time with his wife Rachel, their three children, and his first granddaughter.
