Andrew joined GPW in 2010 through the GPW intern program. He is a California Certified Public Accountant who’s tax expertise is wide-ranging and includes providing tax saving strategies and compliance services for estates, trusts, individuals and business entities, while also representing clients in federal and state examinations and negotiations. Andrew is a leader at GPW in the field of trust, estate and gift tax and has an extensive background in traditional probate, asset protection and complex trust and estate planning with tax compliance. Andrew also constantly monitors developments in the increasingly complex area of state and local tax laws and works with clients to implement proactive strategies to manage exposure and lower the costs of conducting business on a multistate basis. In addition to his experience working with domestic clients, he provides consulting and tax compliance services to international clients. Andrew works with clients and their advisors on tax-saving strategies and compliance related to outbound and inbound transactions in order to implement and maintain a tax-efficient cross-border structure.
Andrew earned his BA in both Accounting and Business Administration from Point Loma Nazarene University, where he graduated magna cum laude.
Andrew is affiliated with CalCPA, AICPA and Point Loma Nazarene University. He also serves on the board for Promises2Kids and is a member of the North County Estate Planning Council. In his spare time he enjoys spending his spare time with his wife and children.
