Diane L. Gilabert, CPA, MBA
Diane joined GPW in 2018. She focuses on tax planning, research, and compliance for closely-held businesses and their owners. Over Diane’s thirty-plus years in public accounting she has assisted business clients with multi-state income tax planning; corporate and partnership restructurings; tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions; California residency audits; and IRS audits.
Diane was the Chief Financial Officer at the San Diego Humane Society immediately prior to joining GPW. Before that she was a tax partner at CPA firms in San Diego including BDO LLP and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
Diane earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics and an MBA from Rice University in Houston, Texas.
Diane served on the Finance Committee and Board of Trustees of the San Diego Humane Society for 25 years, serving two stints as Board Chair. Diane enjoys playing tennis, attending Padres games, and playing with her cats Puma and Nike, both adopted from SDHS’ Kitten Nursery.
